Don’t sing in the bath, sing with our choir!

If you enjoy singing and can sing in tune, please come along to one of our practice sessions. We will give a warm welcome to both experienced singers and those that have always wanted to take up this hobby, but never had the time or courage to try. Don’t worry if you can’t read music but the ability to do so if only at a basic level helps.

By joining the choir you will have a hobby that is enjoyable, a chance to make and meet new friends, gives you a challenge and contributes towards local and national charities.

We rehearse at St Peter’s Church and Community Centre, Hawksworth, off Silver Link Road, Glascote, B77 2HH, on Monday evenings commencing at 7.30pm until 9.30pm.

The first step is to contact the choir by telephoning Judith Bowen on 01827 280167 or preferably just come along and see us rehearsing. You can listen to the different types of songs that we sing, learn about the three harmony parts, join in and sing and feel what it is like to be part of a large choir, chat to members and find out what we do.

If after this you do decide to join us you will be given the appropriate guidance a simple voice test and should be on stage performing within two to three months.
