Neath Male Voice
The Neath Male Voice Choir has been twinned with Tamworth Ladies’ Choir since 1996. Since then numerous joint concerts have been staged both in South Wales and here in Tamworth. We have the pleasure of welcoming this wonderful choir to Tamworth for a joint concert on 14th July 2018
Treverva Male Voice Choir
The Tamworth Ladies’ Choir were also invited to sing with the the award-winning Treverva Male Voice Choir from Cornwall.
Recently Treverva Male Voice Choir made a visit to Tamworth with an outstanding performance in St. Editha’s Parish Church. The Ladies’ Choir visited Falmouth again on 30th April- 2nd May 2016 and sang in another very successful concert with Treverva MV Choir.
The Treverva Choir planned visit to us scheduled for May 2019 has had to be cancelled due to difficulties in finding a suitable accompanist to replace their regular and long standing one who is unavailable.

Culdrose Military Wives Choir
Whilst in Cornwall 30th April -2nd May 2016, for their concert with the Treverva Male Voice Choir the Tamworth Ladies’ Choir were fortunate enough to be able to have a concert with the Culdrose Military Wives Choir in Helston. This was a concert to remember!! The finale was sung by both choirs and was the Military Wives Prayer the very poignant “Wherever you Are” which when released was the second fastest selling single ever. Concert at Ward End Elim Church, Birmingham
11th June 2016 to raise funds for the church.
Concert at Polesworth Abbey
9th July 2016, Joint concert with Tamworth Male Voice Choir to raise funds for 2nd Company Polesworth Girls Brigade. A total of £553 was raised.
Guide Dogs for the Blind Concert, St Paul’s Church, Fazelely.
October 2016, Concert in aid of Guide Dogs for the Blind was well received and well attended and raised a signifcant amount for the Charity.
Carol Singing at ASDA Superstore, Tamworth
19th December 2016, our second year singing carols at this venue, this year the collection was for Macmillan Nurses

Joint Concert with Mercian Singers at Polesworth Abbey, raising funds for Polesworth Girls Brigade, 17th June 2017
This was the first time that the Ladies’ Choir had sung with the newly formed Mercian Singers and it was a great evening raising funds for Girls Brigade Leader training scheme.
Concert with Joyful Spirit in Weston super Mare, in aid of Weston Street Pastors, 13th May 2017
The joint concert with Joyful Spirit a community gospel choir based in Wrington in Somerset was a great success and raised several hundred pounds for Weston Street Pastors. The highlight of the evening (apart from the delicious cakes baked by the ladies of Joyful Spirit) was the joint finale of “You Raise Me Up”. This has now been uploaded to YouTube. For our new accompanist Hannah, this was her first concert with us and together with our super MD, Gail Brindley, she held it all together. The weekend was a great success, helped by very good weather.
Summer Sunday Afternoon Tea Concert, 6th August 2017
The afternoon was a great success and the Choir raised over £700 to go towards Choir funds. Cakes were made by choir members and were eaten heartily by the ninety or so members of the audience during the interval. This was new Musical Director, Hilary Griffiths first concert with the choir.
Concert in aid of Hope Village, Malawi at Elim Church Tamworth

A wonderful concert at Tamworth Elim Church to a very appreciative audience.
A total of £501 was raised for Hope Village project in Malawi which is supported partly by donations from the Elim Church.
